The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) has assured the general populace that it is fully equipped to respond to any potential outbreak of Covid19.
Recently, the ministry of health announced the upsurge of covid19 cases.
ZAMMSA Senior Manager Corporate Communications, Bradley Chingobe, says the agency has sufficient stocks of essential health commodities ranging from essential medicines, surgical products, laboratory products and personal productive equipment (PPEs).
“ZAMMSA has continued to actively engage in the immediate procurement of additional medical supplies,” said Mr. Chingobe in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
He has therefore urged the public to seek timely medical assistance at the nearest health facility if experiencing Covid19 related symptoms.
