Opposition United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ) leader, Charles Chanda, has urged President Hakainde Hichilema, to assemble a team to help fulfill the promises made to the Zambian people during the 2021 elections.
In a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka, Mr. Chanda said a strong and focused team is essential for achieving the goals outlined in Mr. Hichilema’s vision for the country.
“The Zambian people placed their hopes in President Hichilema in 2021, and it is imperative that he builds a team that reflects the same commitment to transparency and progress. Together, they can work towards realizing the objectives that were promised,” said Mr. Chanda.
He said the right personnel and strategic planning are necessary to translate those intentions into reality.
Mr. Chanda said the current economic challenges and social issues facing citizens, require swift action and effective governance.
“We have seen progress in some areas, but there is still much work to be done. The people are looking for visible results and tangible change,” said Mr. Chanda.
