UKA UNIMPRESSED WITH STATES HANDLING OF JAY BANDA’S  CASE

United Kwacha Alliance UKA Chairperson Communications, Jackson Silavwe, has expressed his disappointment at the manner the state has handled the alleged abduction case involving Petauke central member of parliament, Emmanuel Jay Banda.

Mr. Silavwe who is also Golden Party of Zambia President,  has described the treatment of the Petauke lawmaker as inhumane, saying that the state should have allowed him to fully recover before any court or police appearances.

He said that the recent charges slapped on Mr. Banda is a deliberate ploy to keep him silent on the abduction case.

“The behaviour of the state on this case has been that of mafias,” said Mr. Silavwe in a statemenet issued to RCV News in  Lusaka today.
