SP SAYS UPND STRUGGLING TO RECONNECT WITH THE PEOPLE

Opposition Socialist Party President Fred M’membe says after two years and nine months in power, President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND government have lost touch with the poor people.

Dr. M’membe said this in a statement made available to the press under the heading “we are ready to deliver new leadership”.

He accused the ruling government of no longer understanding what fairness, justice, equity and peace actually mean.

“They simply don’t understand the new challenges that people face now and in the future” said Dr. M’membe.

Dr. M’membe said the challenge is to truly change hospitals and make health services free and socialized.

He said the way forward for Zambia is to choose Compatriots and a party with progressive ideas to meet the challenges of the future.
