PUBLIC URGED TO SCRUTINISE PROPOSED CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS

Battle Cry Founder, Obrian Mayambu, has called for constructive scrutiny of the proposed constitutional amendments, who’s road map was unveiled yesterday by the Minister Of Justice , Princess Kasune.

Dr. Mayambu emphasized the need for inclusive and people-centered discussions, calling on civil society organizations, the church, political players, and the youth to take a keen interest in the clauses set for amendment.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Dr. Mayambu stressed that the constitutional review process must prioritize the interests of ordinary Zambians to ensure meaningful reforms.

“As the nation embarks on this crucial exercise, it is important that the voices of the people are heard and their concerns reflected in the final amendments,” said Dr. Mayambu.

He further encouraged all stakeholders to engage in constructive dialogue to foster transparency and accountability.
