PRIORITY IS ON THE PEOPLE , NOT POLITICS – UPND

Kabwata Member of Parliament Andrew Tayengwa says the UPND will not play to the gallery, by prioritizing politics at the expense of addressing the challenges Zambians are facing.

Mr. Tayengwa said this in Lusaka today, when he featured on Christian Voices’ Chatback program on the topic, “National Matters”.

Mr. Tayengwa said the UPND has noticed politics without substance from the opposition, at a time when the government is expecting alternatives to its policies.

“Government is focused on reducing prices of fuel, Mealie Meal and the general cost of living, as opposed to responding to tribal statements from the opposition,” said Mr. Tayengwa.

He has also encouraged his fellow members of parliament to place the concerns of the people first, as opposed to giving statements that can divide the nation.
