Police in Lusaka yesterday recorded 46 road traffic accidents in which 2 people died while 5 others sustained serious injuries.
Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale says out of the 46 road traffic accidents recorded, 2 were fatal in which 2 people died while the other 2 were recorded as serious injury accidents.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mwale says Police in Lusaka have arrested Wilson Banda of Lilayi Estates in connection with the offence of Obtaining money by false pretences.
“The 40-year-old suspect is alleged to have been receiving undisclosed amounts of money from unsuspecting members of the public on the pretext that he will deliver motor vehicles and precious stones,” said Mr. Mwale in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
He said investigations have continued and the suspect remains in custody.
