National Action for Quality Education in Zambia (NAQEZ)Executive Director, Aaron Chansa has called on both teachers and Grade 12 examination candidates to refrain from engaging in any form of malpractice.
Dr. Chansa emphasized that this is a crucial time for candidates to demonstrate their readiness to take on responsibilities as they transition into society.
In an interview with RCV News, Dr. Chansa has highlighted that the examination period is particularly sensitive, as law enforcement agencies frequently receive reports of malpractice that undermine the education sector.
“Teachers must avoid criminal activities that could jeopardize their careers, and they should be bold and refrain from leaking examination papers to favor certain students,” urged Dr. Chansa.
Dr. Chansa has reaffirmed NAQEZ’s commitment to preventing malpractice and ensuring that those involved face consequences.
“We aim for a Zambia where examinations are free of incidents, fostering integrity and confidence in the education system,” said Dr. Chansa.
The 2024 School Certificate Examination has commenced today 4th November and will run up to 19th November 2024.
