NAQEZ SAYS LOADSHEDDING AFFECTING QUALITY EDUCATION

The National Action for Quality Education in Zambia, NAQEZ,  says loadshedding is negatively affecting the delivery of quality education, especially in secondary schools.

NAQEZ Executive Director, Aaron Chansa, said this in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, in reaction to 8 hours of load-shading that has been going on for more than two months now.

Mr. Chansa said the delivery of  computer related courses has particularly been disturbed by the power cuts.

“In my view power shortages have direct negative impact on secondary schools where students learn Computer Studies, Technical Drawing and Home Economics”, said Mr Chansa.
