The Action Institute for Policy Analysis Centre (AIPAC) has expressed shock with an investigative news article in today’s edition of the News diggers newspaper with the headline, How the Sensele rescue mission turned into a mining operation, blood copper hijacked by the Chinese, protected by the politicians.
Centre Executive Director, Solomon Ngoma, says the news article is alarming, calling on government to address the allegations in the report.
Mr. Ngoma has also called for a full explanation from individuals cited in the news article.
“The investigative piece has revealed the exploitation of Zambia’s resources by investors and government should address the nation on the contents of the article” said Mr. Ngoma in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
