The Luangwa Town Council has expressed delight over its adherence to the legal framework despite the temporary malfunction of the system that occurred the previous week.
This follows a site inspection conducted by the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) through its e-GP unit at the Council’s Procurement Unit on the usage of the electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system.
“The primary goal of the visit was to ensure compliance is adhered to, in accordance with the Public Procurement Act of 2020,” said Luangwa Town Council Procurement Officer, Chrispin Bwalya in a statement issued to RCV News by Council Assistant Public Relations Officer Annedy Longwe.
Mr. Bwalya said he has commended ZPPA for providing guidance on areas where improvements are needed to ensure effective usage of the system.
