HPCZ SETS DATES FOR 2024 LICENSURE EXAMS

The Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) has slated 1st October to 18th November for the second session of the 2024 HPCZ Professional Licensure Examinations (LEX).

HPCZ announced this in Lusaka today with a call to all potential candidates to begin submitting their applications to sit the for examinations.

Speaking during a media briefing, HPCZ Registrar and CEO Fastone Goma said the application process will open on 29th August and close on 23rd September 2024.

“All eligible candidates will first sit the theory exam and only those who pass will proceed to the practical examination. Theory exam results will be released within two weeks after the test,” said Mr. Goma.

Mr. Goma also said HPCZ will now only allow diploma and degree holders to take the LEX, discontinuing the examination of certificate programmes.

He has since urged all candidates to take the exams seriously and that the Council will continue to collaborate with various stakeholders to promote high standards in healthcare training and service delivery.

The October – November 2024 LEX will be conducted simultaneously in Ndola and Lusaka at venues to be announced in due course.
