GREEN PARTY URGES UPND TO WORK ON COST OF LIVING

Opposition Green Party President, Peter Sinkamba, has called on the United Party for National Development (UPND) government to present a clear and actionable plan to address the soaring cost of living that continues to burden many Zambians.

Mr. Sinkamba alleges that the UPND regime has failed to stabilize the economy due to a lack of a well-defined strategy.

His remarks came amidst reports that the ruling party has begun preparations for the 2026 general elections.

But Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Sinkamba said that the UPND must not only focus on elections but also on fixing the economy, which has affected the lives of many Zambians.

“Governments apparent preoccupation with political ambitions risks sidelining the immediate needs of the people,” said Mr. Sinkamba.
