ENERGY CRISIS WILL BE RESOLVEDĀ  – VEEP

Vice President Mutale Nalumango says loadshedding is a legacy issue that the new dawn government seeks to end.

Mrs. Nalumango said this today, Ā when she met the traditional leadership in Kalumbila district of North Western Province.

The Vice President said the country has depended on Hydro power since independence, a situation the new dawn government is trying to change by investing in other alternative sources of energy.

ā€œGovernment is investing in alternative energy sources to ensure the country does not face such challenges in future,ā€ said Mrs. Nalumango.

She has also reminded Zambians to take advantage of the initiative that allows for the sell of excess power Ā generated by home solar systems to the national grid.
