ENERGY CRISIS WILL BE RESOLVED  – VEEP

Vice President Mutale Nalumango says loadshedding is a legacy issue that the new dawn government seeks to end.

Mrs. Nalumango said this today,  when she met the traditional leadership in Kalumbila district of North Western Province.

The Vice President said the country has depended on Hydro power since independence, a situation the new dawn government is trying to change by investing in other alternative sources of energy.

“Government is investing in alternative energy sources to ensure the country does not face such challenges in future,” said Mrs. Nalumango.

She has also reminded Zambians to take advantage of the initiative that allows for the sell of excess power  generated by home solar systems to the national grid.
