Government has launched Eagles Holding Limited and Eagles alert security firm, both subsidiaries of the Zambia National Service ZNS.
Minister of Defence Ambrose Lufuma says this is testament of the security wings’ mandate to diversify revenue streams and create substantiable job opportunities for Zambians and the youth.
Speaking at the Launch in Lusaka today, Mr. Lufuma said that the launch of Eagles Holding limited should not be seen as an enemy in the private sector, but should be considered as an alternative competitor on the market.
“Government is confident that Eagles Holding limited and Eagles alert security will be able to compete favorably in the private sector due to its attributes of discipline and dedication,” said Mr. Lufuma.
He said that the success of the subsidiaries will also positively contribute to the country’s Gross Domestic Product GDP.
