BATTLE CRY URGES THE OPPOSITION TO FOLLOW THE LAW ON RALLIES

Battle Cry for Zambia Founder, Obrian Mayambu, has urged opposition political parties that intend on having public rallies, to always follow the prescribed guidelines.

Apostle Mayambu says despite opposition Political parties having the right to assembly, correct procedures should be followed according to the law.

He told RCV News in Lusaka today that the police must also dialogue with political groupings whenever they deny permits for political gatherings.

“Public rallies are important in the democratic space and must be done within the law,” said Apostle Mayambu.
