ADEG CALLS FOR PEACEFUL ELECTIONS IN PAMBASHE AND PETAUKE

The Advocates for Democratic Governance Foundation (ADEG) has urged all stakeholders to ensure peaceful and credible by-elections in Pambashe and Petauke Constituencies, scheduled for tomorrow,  6th  February 2025.

“ADEG appeals to all registered voters to exercise their right to vote peacefully, and a calm and secure atmosphere is key to ensuring the elections reflect the true will of the people,” said Mr. Musonda.

He also regretted the violence recorded during campaigns in Petauke, calling on the Zambia Police to heighten security measures around polling stations and totalling centres to ensure peaceful and credible elections.
