ZANAMACA CALLS FOR COLLABORATION IN CHOLERA FIGHT

The Zambia National Marketers Credit Association (ZANAMACA) has called for close collaboration between markets and councils across the country in the prevention of Cholera.

ZANAMACA President, Mupila Kameya’s, appeal comes in the wake of the continued spread of cholera in Nakonde district of  Muchinga Province.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Kameya said that there is need for councils to heighten sanitation efforts in markets.

“Markets are hotspots for cholera because they harbour traders from different localities,” said Mr. Kameya.

And Mr. Kameya has called for personal responsibility among marketeers as they trade in their respective markets.
