A Lusaka-based clergyman has called on government to implement policies aimed at alleviating the high cost of living that has burdened many Zambians.
Pastor-in-Charge at RCCG Power Assembly Parish, Patrick Osagie, expressed concerns over the economic hardships experienced by the majority of citizens throughout 2024.
Speaking to RCV News in Lusaka, Dr. Osagie emphasized the urgency for the government to take remedial measures in 2025 to ease the economic strain on households.
“Most Zambians have voiced their struggles with the escalating cost of living and It is critical for the government to act decisively to reduce this burden,” said Dr. Osagie.
He further warned that failing to address the high cost of living would have long-term consequences for the nation, describing it as a potential drawback for the progress and well-being of the Zambian people.
