The National Action for Quality Education in Zambia ( NAQEZ) is demanding for presidential sanctions against any government officials at the Ministry of Education, who participated in the procurement of the condemned M.SAT.
In the last few days ,the nation witnessed the Ministry of Education failing to account for millions of Kwacha which were illegally spend on a census software, M.SAT. Before the Parliamentary Accounts Committee ( PAC).
But NAQEZ Executive Director Aaron Chansa NAQEZ stands with PAC as it tries to recover the K3.6million which was regrettably donated to M.SAT.
“School grants are critical in running various educational activities in the country and anyone found abusing the funds becomes a serious enemy of the people of Zambia,” said Dr. Chansa in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
He has therefore urged the President to take action against anyone who was involved in this issue adding that Citizens are also waiting to see how the Anti-Corruption Commission will treat this spectacular abuse of authority.
