The Opposition Leadership Movement says the continued holding of by elections across the county has the potential to cause voter fatigue ahead of the 2026 General elections.
Party Secretary General Jairos Ngoma says the frequency of by elections is also disturbing service delivery in the affected areas.
Mr. Ngoma said this in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka.
“There is need review laws that activate by elections in Zambia to also safeguard the countries scarce finances,” said Mr. Ngoma.
He said that most Zambians are not excited about elections, adding that there more concerned about addressing their day to day challenges that are never addressed by politicians.
