Opposition Christian Democratic Party (CDP) leader, Danny Pule, says he expects government to reintroduce Fuel subsidies in the 2025 National Budget, to be presented this Friday, 27th September, 2024.
Dr. Pule said this in Lusaka today when he featured on Christian Voices’ Chatback program on the topic, “ National Matters”.
He said that government should re-introduce subsidies on fuel to cushion what he described as the harsh economic conditions affecting Zambians.
“The nation also expects a partial subsidy on Mealie Meal to ensure the ordinary Zambian can afford,” said Dr. Pule.
Meanwhile, Dr. Pule says he regrets joining the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA).
He has since described the (UKA) alliance as infiltrated with members from the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND).
