The duration for the construction of the Lusaka-Ndola dual carriageway is three years with the concession period lasting up to 25 years.

Road Development Agency (RDA) Public Private Partnership Principal Engineer,  Mwema Tindi, says the engaged local contractors are expected to gain knowledge and expertise in construction.

Speaking to Journalists in Chisamba today during the media tour of the dual carriageway, Mr. Tindi said substantial progress is expected to be made on the Lusaka-Ndola dual carriageway by the end of 2024.

He said the road will open up trade in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).
