The Commuter Rights Association of Zambia (CRAZ) has described the decision by Kulima Tower Bus Station to slush prices on Tuesday, August 20 to celebrate the 3 years of the UPND government as political.
Yesterday, the Kulima Tower Bus Drivers Association announced that it will be charging 10 kwacha for all local routes on Tuesday, August 20, to celebrate President Hakainde Hichilema’s 3 years in office which has contributed to the peace of their bus station.
But speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Kamuti has however urged government to work on the high fuel prices which he said, are affecting commuters through high bus fares.
“The decision by the Kulima tower bus station is strange and also confirms that some party officials may have a hand in the running of the bus station” said Mr. Kamuti.
