President Hakainde Hichilema has called for enhanced partnership between Zambia and Italy in the Agriculture and Energy sectors.
President Hichilema says this will further cement the current bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speaking when he met the Italian International Co-operation delegation at State today, President Hichilema urged the Italian government to outline their planned financing in the two sectors, to formulate attainable targets in the said sectors.
“The energy and agriculture sectors are open for investments to benefit Zambians,” said Mr. Hichilema.
He has also thanked the Italian government for the commitment it made earlier this year to support Zambia and the Lobito project with €5.5 billion.
