Apostles Council of Churches General Secretary, Mwaona Zulu, has stressed the need to incorporate National Values and Principles in the new school curriculum.
Reverend Zulu said this in Lusaka today , when he featured on Christian Voices Chatback program on the topic, “National Values and principles”.
He said that the incorporation of national values and principles in the school curriculum will address some of the current challenges on democracy, constitutionalism, governance, morality and sustainable development.
“National values and principles should be taught at an early age to ensure the country has a more responsible citizenry,” said Rev. Zulu.
He also called on the church to teach their respective congregants on the importance of national values and principles.
