Minister of Science and Technology Felix Mutati has stressed the need for Zambia to fast truck its digitalization agenda, for it to become a digital hub in Africa.
Speaking when he officiated at the Information Communication and Technology Association of Zambia Annual General Meeting in Livingstone today, Mr. Mutati said that Zambia will be presented with massive investment opportunities if it becomes a digital hub on the continent.
Mr. Mutati therefore underscored the need to expended digital services to all parts of the country especially in rural areas.
“The major areas that need to be digitally transformed include chiefdoms, mines, refugee settlements and farms”, said Mr. Mutati.
