The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) says the increased cases of defilement, is a sign that morality levels in the country are at their worst.
Commenting on the increased cases of defilement in the country, EFZ Executive Director Andrew Mwenda says it is disheartening that the Zambia Police is reporting cases of defilement every week.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Bishop Mwenda has challenged the church to wake up and deliberately preach sermons that discourage sin.
“The church has to work with government, traditional leaders and law enforcement agencies, to sensitize people on the evils of defilement”, Said Bishop Mwenda.
He said that if left unchecked, the future of the country will be destroyed.
