Former Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs, Godfridah Sumaili, has urged the church, families, and government to work together in safeguarding Christian principles and values across the country.
Rev. Sumaili said it would be unfair to place the blame for moral decay solely on government, noting that families and the church also play a critical role in shaping an upright society.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka, she emphasized the importance of families instilling Christian values in children as a foundation for a morally upright life.
“Churches too must move in the same vein and ensure their congregants are well taught on Christian values,” said Rev. Sumaili.
