Opposition Patriotic Front (PF) Faction Secretary General, Raphael Nakachinda, has called on Zambians to refrain from recognizing Mafinga Member of Parliament, Robert Chabinga, as the leader of the PF.
Mr. Nakachinda expressed concern that some members of the public have been misled into believing that Mr. Chabinga is the legitimate head of the former ruling party.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka, Mr. Nakachinda reiterated that Mr. Chabinga remains expelled from the PF and should not present himself as the party’s leader.
“The PF is also disappointed with some media houses that have continued to recognize Mr. Chabinga as party leader,” said Mr. Nakachinda.
He further urged all PF members to remain focused on mobilization efforts, following the party’s handover to former President Edgar Lungu.
