LACK OF DIRECTION FORCED HARRY KALABA TO LEAVE UKA-IMBOELA

United Kwacha Alliance (UKA) Member Saboi Imboela has observed that lack of direction within UKA has forced  Citizens First  Party leader  Harry Kalaba to leave the alliance.

On Wednesday, Mr. Kalaba announced his departure from the alliance, stating that his party wanted to be part of larger groupings of political parties.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka, Ms. Imboela said that if the alliance continues on this trajectory other political parties will leave, hence the need for a clear road map.

“Mr. Kalaba’s departure will weaken UKA because he was the strongest candidate within  the Alliance ”, said Ms. Imboela.

She stressed that Mr. Kalaba’s departure will make it difficult for UKA to participate in any electoral process as he was the only one who could mobilize resources to ensure the Alliance took part in all electoral processes.
