The team inspected ongoing works at Nsumbu Trades Training Institute, Kasaba Bay Secondary Boarding School, Nsumbu Market and Tanganyika Radio Station, all of which are being constructed with support from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

Dr. Chibamba underscored  government’s commitment to delivering socio-economic infrastructure that empowers citizens and strengthens the conservation of natural resources.

“The construction of these facilities reflects the governments deep respect for its citizens and public service workers who are the backbone of the communities served,” said Dr. Chibamba in statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.

Meanwhile, Northern Province Permanent Secretary Bernard Mpundu described the projects as a major milestone and a testament to government’s deliberate investment in rural infrastructure transformation.
