ZMP CALLS ON GOV’T TO MITIGATE FLOOD CRISIS

Opposition Zambia Must Prosper Lusaka Province  Chairman, Moffat Sinyangwe, has expressed concern over the flood crisis in Lusaka.

Mr. Sinyangwe has called on the local government to revise the Central Business District (CBD) plan to curb flooding permanently.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka, Mr. Sinyangwe said that the floods are likely to affect businesses and peoples’ health.

“It is important for the local government to be pro-active and responsive to the challenges faced by the people”, said Mr. Sinyangwe.
