Opposition Munthu Party President Steven Nyirenda has challenged ZESCO Limited to update the nation on the suspended power exports to neighboring countries.
ZESCO during its announcement of the commencement of loadshedding told the nation that it will suspend some power agreements with neighboring countries in view of load shedding.
Speaking when he featured on Christian Voices’ Chatback program in Lusaka today, Mr. Nyirenda said that the suspension on some power agreements should have an impact on the number of loadshedding hours.
“The nation wants to know the current power being saved from the suspended power agreements ZESCO announced”, said Mr. Nyirenda.
