ZAMMSA SAYS THERE’S NO CONDOM SHORTAGE

Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) has dismissed reports suggesting shortage of condoms and confirms that over three million condoms are ready for immediate distribution and an additional 29 million undergoing routine quality assurance tests.

ZAMMSA Senior Manager – Corporate Communication, Bradley Chingobe, says the availability and use of condoms are critical in promoting public health by preventing sexually transmitted infections and play an essential role in family planning.

“As part of our mission, ZAMMSA is committed to the efficient and timely distribution of essential health commodities as we aim to foster a healthy and productive Zambia,” said Mr. Chingobe in a statement issued to RCV News today.
