The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency (ZAMMSA) has received the fourth consignment of 7,050 Health Centre Kits, bringing the cumulative number of center kits received since August 2023 to 28,200.
The fourth batch of health Centre kits is the second consignment the agency has received in the last two months.
ZAMMSA Senior Manager Corporate Communications Bradley Chingobe says, the country has now seen the availability of essential medicines and medical supplies at primary healthcare facilities increase to above 75%.
“The appropriate distribution of the kits will commence as soon as the Certificate of Analysis clearance is granted by the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority ZAMRA”, said Mr. Chingobe in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
