Zambians traveling to South Africa have been advised to exercise caution and stay informed about the political and security situation in the country, as South Africans go to the polls tomorrow.
First Secretary Press and Public Relations at Zambia’s High Commission in South Africa, Tamara Nyirenda, says Zambian travelers should be aware of potential developments that may arise during the election time.
Ms. Nyirenda has also reminded travelers to ensure they have all necessary documentation and travel insurance before embarking on their journey.
“It is recommended to avoid any large gatherings or demonstrations and to stay in touch with the Zambian Mission in South Africa for updates on the situation,” said Ms. Nyirenda in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
