Opposition United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ) Leader, Charles Chanda, has described the late Former First Lady Maureen Mwanawasa as a beacon of compassion and strength for the nation.
In a statement to RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Chanda expressed sadness at the passing of Dr. Mwanawasa, wife of the late Zambia’s 3rd President, Levy Patrick Mwanawasa.
Mr. Chanda emphasized Dr. Mwanawasa’s unwavering commitment to service and her deep compassion for the Zambian people.
“Her legacy of love, resilience, and dedication to the less fortunate in our society will inspire generations to come,” said Mr. Chanda.
He has further urged Zambians to come together and embrace the values of unity and hope that the late Former First Lady represented.
