UPPZ LEADER CALLS FOR ENHANCED SUPPORT FOR PRESIDENTIAL FAMILIES

United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia (UPPZ) Leader, Charles Chanda, has called on government and future administrations to prioritize the welfare of the families of both living and deceased presidents.

Mr.  Chanda has emphasized the importance of compassion and support for those who have served the nation at the highest level.

In a statement to RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Chanda also emphasized that the families of former presidents deserve respect and assistance regardless of political differences.

“As a nation, we must come together to uphold our moral responsibilities and protect the dignity of those who have served us,” said Mr. Chanda.

Mr. Chanda said there is need to draw a clear line separating politics from humanity so that the sacrifices made by the leaders, and the families who stood by them are not forgotten.

He has since proposed establishing a dedicated fund to assist these families with healthcare, education, and basic living expenses.
