UPND SAYS IT HAS NOT FAILED ON ITS CAMPAIGN PROMISES

Nominated Member of Parliament, Likando Mufalali, says it is unfair for some Zambians to claim that the United Party for National Development (UPND) has failed to deliver on its campaign promises.

Mr. Mufalali says the UPND’s tenure has so far been marred by natural calamities such as the drought, that has slowed down the delivery of its campaign promises.

Mr. Mufalalai has told RCV News that despite the drought, government has managed to implement polices that support vulnerable Zambians during the crises.

“The Free Education, increased Constituency Development Fund CDF ,  cash for work program, the massive recruitment in the health and education sectors are some of the areas government ahs scored,” said Mr. Mufalali.

He therefore urged Zambians to remain patient and supportive, reiterating that long-term development requires time and resilience, particularly when dealing with unforeseen natural calamities.
