United Party for National Development (UPND) Media Director, Mark Simuuwe, has expressed confidence that President Hakainde Hichilema will secure a second term with ease.
Mr. Simuuwe stated that the UPND remains widely popular across the country, attributing this to the ongoing development projects under President Hichilema’s leadership.
Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Simuuwe dismissed concerns over the recent reunification of factions within the Patriotic Front (PF), saying the ruling party is unfazed by the development.
“The united PF is the same party the UPND defeated in 2021”, said Mr. Simuuwe.
He further challenged the opposition to present credible and sustainable alternatives to the current government’s agenda, questioning what tangible solutions they are offering the Zambian people.
