UKA ACCUSES UPND OF HATRED AGAINST POLITICAL PARTIES

Opposition United Kwacha Alliance, UKA, has accused the United Party for National Development, UPND, government of having hatred against opposition political parties in the country.

Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka today, Alliance Member, Sean Tembo has accused government of using the Zambia Police Service to harass opposition political parties so that they cannot give alternative solutions to the Zambian people.

“UPND government has failed to improve the living standards of the people in the country as promised during campaign period”, said Mr. Tembo who is also Patriots for Economic Progress, PEP, President.

And speaking at the same event, Golden Party of Zambia President Jackson Silavwe has accused government of taking the Zambian economy back in the colonial days.

Mr. Silavwe said the cost of living has continued to escalate, disadvantaging the vulnerable.
