The United Party for National Development (UPND) has downplayed assertations that it is not doing enough to address the economic hardship Zambians are facing.
There has been concerns from members of the public that the UPND has not done enough to ensure the economic outlook of the country turns positive.
But speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, UPND National Youth Information Publicity Secretary Francis Kope said that government has implemented polices that will see the economy improve.
“Debt restructuring, investor confidence in the mining sector and the realignment of the agriculture sector are all polices that will economically benefit Zambians long term”, said Mr. Kope.
He has therefore urged Zambians to participate in the economic agenda of the country through the increased constituency develeopmnet fund CDF, Citizens economic empowerment commission CEEC and the agriculture sector.
