Small Medium Enterprises SMEs in Lusaka’s Kalingalinga compound have called on ZESCO Limited to be consistent with supplying power during the day.
For the past few weeks, Kalingalinga compound has been receiving power during daytime which has elated business owners.
In random interviews with RCV News today, some business owners said the development has impacted their businesses positively as they are able to make sales.
“Having power only at night makes our businesses slow and as parents we find it difficult to fend for our families’’, said Mr. Christopher Besa, a welder in the area.
Another welder identified as Ibrahim Banda said the availability of electricity has enabled him to plan for his business, which is slowly getting back on track.
