Buterla Investment Holdings Limited Media Director, Paul Mukabila, has urged the public to take interest in the fourth coming Zambia Mining and Investment Insaka, scheduled to take place on the 7th to 11th October, 2024.

Mr. Mukabila said in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today that the Insaka has great potential to turn around investments in the mining sector.

“This is a unique chance for stakeholders to engage, network, and explore ways to drive growth, innovation, and sustainability in the industry,” said Mr. Mukabila.

He said the event will also unbundle a diverse range of topical issues in the mining sector such as greenfield mining, artisanal mining, mining licenses for local Zambians and innovations in Zambia’s Mining Sector among other things.

Mr. Mukabila said the Insaka is anticipated to attract 2, 500 local and international delegates.

“Part of the proceeds that will be earned during the Insaka will be channeled towards the national geological mapping that the Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development has embarked on,” said Mr. Mukabila.

The theme for the Insaka is “Mining Beyond Copper – Celebrating 100 Years of Mining in Zambia.
