Organizing Committee of the National Day of Prayer, Fasting, Repentance and Reconciliation Treasurer, Solomon Mbulo, has reminded Zambians that the National day of prayer is not only to pray for politicians but the country at large.
Reverend Mbulo said this when he featured on Christian voices’ Chatback program on the topic, “Importance of National Day of prayer, fasting, repentance and reconciliation”.
Rev. Mbulo says it is unfortunate that this day has been be related to politicians only, as opposed to the benefit of the country.
“Zambians should also pray for the well being of the nation and their personal lives during this day,” said Rev. Mbulo.
He has also urged Zambians to pray for the challenges affecting the country such as drought, poverty and moral decay among others.
