Financial expert and JSK Wealth Hub proprietor, Jones Sambaombe, has called on politicians to avoid making rhetorical or misleading statements about the ongoing Banknotes transition, warning that such commentary risks fueling public misinformation.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka, Mr. Sambaombe emphasized that the transition process must be rooted in credible data, sound economic fundamentals, and the genuine needs of the Zambian people, not political agendas.
“The Kwacha can only grow stronger if honest conversations are held and this is key to restoring its purchasing power and supporting long-term economic growth,” said Mr. Sambaombe.
Mr. Sambaombe has therefore urged political leaders to prioritize national interest by safeguarding the integrity of the Kwacha and refraining from politicizing monetary matters.
