Opposition Socialist Party Deputy Secretary General, Antonio Mwanza, has urged Zambians to blacklist politicians that utter tribal sentiments.
Mr. Mwanza said this in Lusaka today, when he featured on Christian Voice’s Chatback program on the topic, “National Matters”.
He said that politicians that make tribal statements should not be entertained regardless of their political standing in society.
“Politicians should not be careless with their statements but instead look to unite the country,” said Mr. Mwanza.
And Mr. Mwanza said that the opposition are waiting for response from President Hakainde Hichilema on their request to hold a national indaba on the economy.
He said that several letters have been sent to state house to have a National indaba on the economic challenges Zambians are facing.
“The economic indaba will not only have politicians but also experts on how best government should address the economic challenges the nation is facing,” said Mr. Mwanza.
