OYV DISCOURAGES TRIBAL POLITICS

Operation Young vote OYV  Executive Director, Guess Nyirenda, says the political space has become unattractive following the tribal statements made by some politicians recently.

Mr. Nyirenda says it is unfortunate that some politicians are practicing tribal politics, at a time when Zambians are facing difficult economic challenges.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Nyirenda said that tribal politics will continue to discourage the young people from joining and participating in political issues.

“The politicians who make tribal statements should face the law and be judged accordingly,” said Mr Nyirenda.
