NORTHERN PROVINCE GETS TWO VEHICLES TO ENHANCE SERVICE DELIVERY

Government has officially handed over two Toyota Land cruisers 4×4 vehicles to Lupososhi and Lunte districts  of Northern Province.

Northern Province Permanent Secretary, Bernard Mpundu says this is in a bid to improve service delivery in remote areas.

Mr. Mpundu says the vehicles are part of a broader initiative to enhance transportation infrastructure and ensure that government services reach the most underserved areas.

He urged the district officials to prioritize their use in improving services for the local communities, underscoring that the vehicles were meant to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of government programs in far-flung regions.

“The vehicles are essential tools for bridging the gap in service delivery and they will help ensure that services are delivered more effectively, whether it’s for health, education, or other key public services,” said Mr. Mpundu in a statement issued to RCV News by Northern Province Principal Public Relations Officer, Sandra Mulenga.

Mr. Mpundu also added that the handover of the vehicles is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to address transportation challenges faced by many districts, particularly those in remote areas.
